Fall - Made his season debut at the Golfweek Conference Challenge... Led the Cougars at that tournament, thanks to consecutive 69s in the final two rounds... Tied for seventh with a score of 214... Helped lead the Cougars to the team title at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic... Finished in a tie for 27th at 221... Led the Cougars at the David Toms Intercollegiate with a sixth-place finish... Opened that tournament with an even-par 72 and closed out the event with a 71. Spring - Made his season debut at the Cougars' own Bayou City Collegiate Championship... Posted three straight rounds of par or better, including a second-round 69, to tie for 10th at 212... Helped lead the Cougars to the team title at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate, the program's first back-to-back titles since 2005-06... Posted a final-round 68 to move into a tie for eighth at 217 and help lead the Cougars to the team title at the Border Olympics, their third straight win... Represented his native Scotland for Team Europe in an international amateur match vs. Team Asia/Pacific for the Sir Michael Bonallack Trophy in Bangalore, India, on March 26-28... Tied for second at the Reunion Intercollegiate after posting back-to-back 72s in the rain-shortened event... Tied for his best finish as a Cougar... Honored as the American Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week following that performance. NCAA Championships: Tied for third with a score of 5-under-par 205... Opened that tournament with an even-par 70... Followed with a 69 in the Second Round and a 66 in the Third Round... Was contending for the NCAA individual national championship midway through the Final Round... Joined with teammate Roman Robledo as the first Cougars to finish among the NCAA Championships top-20 leaders since 2000 (Andy Sanders and Chris Morris)... Posted the Cougars' lowest round at the NCAA Championships since Sanders and Morris shot 66s in the Fourth Round in 2000. Palmer Cup: Went 3-0-1 at the Palmer Cup to lead Team Europe to an 18.5-11.5 win at Walton Heath Golf Club in England... Teamed with fellow Scotsman Jack McDonald to take a 3 and 1 win over Wyndham Clark-Stewart Jolly... Claimed a 4 and 2 win over Jolly in his first singles match... Enjoyed a 3 and 2 win over Brandon Hagy in his final singles match.

SENIOR (2012-13)
Sat out the season as a redshirt to refine his game and focus on academics. Summer: Competed for Team Scotland at the European Team Championships in early July in Denmark... Helped lead team to a second-place finish at that event.... Tied for 11th at the International European Amateur Championship... Posted a score of 294 at Real Club de Golf in El Prat, Spain.

JUNIOR (2011-12)
Finished second on the team with a 73.13 scoring average... Tied for the team lead with four top-10 finishes and led the Cougars with six rounds in the 60s. Fall - Made his Cougar debut during the season-opening Gopher Invitational... Earned a second-place finish at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic with a steady showing... Shot even-par or better during his final two rounds to help lead the Cougars to a share of the team title... Birdied the 16th hole and finished with two pars on the way to a final-round 69 to help preserve the tie... Fired a career-low 64 in the second round at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate on the way to a ninth-place finish... Became only the fourth player in school history to shoot a round of 64 or better... Was the lowest second-round score posted in school history. Spring - Made his spring debut at the Rice Intercollegiate... Posted a score of 225 at that event... Fired a team-best 69 during the second round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate... Finished in a tie for 35th at that tournament... Finished in a tie for sixth place at the Louisiana Classics with a score of 213... Posted an opening-round 71 and then recorded a 69 in the second round for the Cougars' lowest score of the tournament... Earned an eighth-place finish at the Insperity Augusta State Invitational with a score of 208... Fired three straight sub-par rounds for the team's lowest 54-hole score of the season. NCAA Athens Regional: Posted an even-par 71 in the second round and tied for 51st at 222. Summer: Won the Sutherland Chalice in his native Scotland with a score of 4-under-par 276 at Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club... Opened and closed the tournament with even-par 70s... Posted back-to-back 68s in the second and third rounds to win by a stroke... Honored as a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar.

Competed for two seasons at Michigan State from 2009 to 2011 before transferring to Houston. Sophomore (2010-11): Appeared in seven events... Finished third on the team with a 75.5 scoring average... Second on the team with two top-10 and three top-20 finishes... Won the Fossum Invitational in a playoff over teammate Chris Mory, shooting a 146 (74-72)... Was the top Spartan, tying for 24th at the Adams Cup of Newport with a 226 (80-73-73)... Tied for 14th at the Rees Jones Intercollegiate with a 232 (81-74-77)... Went 3-0 at the Big Ten Match Play Championship at the No. 1 spot for MSU, defeating Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin... Posted his best 54-hole score of his career with a 217 (74-72-71) at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, tying for eighth as the top Spartan. Freshman (2009-10): One of two players to compete in all 12 events... Finished second on the team with a 74.10 scoring average... Scoring average ranked 18th all-time at MSU and second among freshmen... Also second with five top-20 finishes and 75 birdies... Had 88.7% (27.5/31) of his rounds counted... Second on the team with both a +0.94 par-3 and +1.61 par-4 scoring average... Was the team's top finisher at the Topy Cup in Tokyo, Japan, tying for 16th with a 220 (75-72-73)... Tied for ninth at the Rees Jones Intercollegiate, the top MSU golfer, with a 225 (78-72-75)... Tied for 20th at the Firestone Invitational with a 224 (75-74-75)... Shot a season-low 67 in the first round of the UNCG Bridgestone... Went 1-2-0 at the Big Ten Match Play Championship... Had his best finish of the season, tying for fifth with a 220 (73-74-73)... Was the team's top performer at the Big Ten Championship, tying for 16th at 294 (75-68-78-73).

Placed 13th in the Welsh Stroke Play Championship... Finished 10th in the Irish Amateur Stroke Play... Placed 25th at the Craigmillar Park Open... Lundin Links Spring Meeting Champion. 2008: Represented Scotland at the European Boys Team Championships, the Boys Home Internationals and the German Boys Open... Was a quarterfinalist at the Scottish Boys Championship... Advanced to the round of 32 at the British Boys Championship. 2007: Member of the National Development team... Finalist at the Lothians County Championship... Won the Glencorse Boys Open.
