Tied for 16th at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate with a score of 219 to rank second among the Cougars. Spring -- Led the Cougars with a Final-Round 71 at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate and finished in a tie for 31st at 217. Summer -- Lowered his scores by five strokes in each round of the rain-shortened Texas Amateur Championship at Bent Tree Country Club... Capped the tournament with a Final-Round 66 to surge into a tie for ninth at even-par 213.

Competed for four years for head coach Mark Boyd... Received Academic Excellence Award for three years and was a member of the National Honor Society. Senior (2013-14): Tied for first in a qualifier on the Palmer Course at The Woodlands County Club to earn a berth into the U.S. Amateur Championship... Posted a 36-hole score of 7-under-par 137 for his first appearance at the U.S. Amateur... Tied with Houston Men's Golf letterman Wesley McClain for first place at that event... Opened the qualifier with a 67, draining four consecutive birdies midwway through that round... Closed out with a bogey-free 70. Junior (2012-13): Member of All-State First Team by High School Golf Scoreboard... Led the Deer to their 11th consecutive district championship and a berth in the Class 5A State Championship with clutch play... In one-hole playoff against Fort Bend Travis High, birdied the 540-yard, par-5 17th hole at Eagle Point Golf Club to break tie and clinch State Championship berth... Finished in tie for 11th at the UIL Class 5A State Championship... Named team's Most Valuable Player... Won the TLJT Flodder Financial Shootout at Meadowbrook Farms... Posted a score of 2-under-par, thanks to a second-round 67 and tied for 12th at the National Junior PGA Tournament at Trump National in Washington, D.C... Earned a pair of top-10 finishes at the TLJT Byron Nelson Junior Championship and the TLJT George Hannon Junior Invitational. Sophomore (2011-12): Captured the District 22-5A title...
