NCAA Stanford Regional: Opened with back-to-back 70s at Stanford Golf Course... Finished in tie for 48th at 218.
Fall -- Made his season debut at the HBU Husky Intercollegiate... Finished in a tie for 20th with a score of 222... Posted a 70 in the Second Round of that event... Lowered his score by at least three strokes with every round at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic... Posted a Final-Round 70 for a score of 221 to tie for 16th. Spring -- Made his season debut at the President's Day Challenge... Opened with a 74 and closed the 36-hole event with an even-par 72 to win the individual title by a stroke... Earned his second top-3 finish of the week with a third-place showing at the All-American Intercollegiate with a score of 211... Opened that tournament with a career-low 67 and fired a 1-under-par 71 in the Second Round... Led the Cougars at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate with a score of 218 to tie for 28th... Tied for eighth at the rain-shortened Border Olympics after firing back-to-back 70s. American Championships -- Tied for 14th with a score of 218, including a Final-Round 72. NCAA Franklin Regional -- Lowered his score with each round and finished in a tie for 61st at 221... Fall -- Made his collegiate debut at the Miramont Invitational... Finished in a tie for 43rd at 151... Posted a 1-1 record at the Moe O'Brien Match Play Championship in Lake Charles... Dropped a 5 and 4 decision to McNeese State before rebounding with a 1 up win over Lawrence Allan of Southeastern Louisiana. Spring -- Tied for 37th at the Miramont Invitational with a score of 157.
Did not compete during the fall and spring seasons... Sat out as a redshirt.

Also was recruited by Baylor, UTEP and North Texas... All-around athlete who played as the Mustangs' starting point guard on the basketball team. Senior (2012-13): Finished second at the District 31-5A Championship, knocking off Alan Alanis in a playoff. Junior (2011-12): All-District 30-5A First-Team honoree... Competed at the state tournament. Sophomore (2010-11): Finished 10th at the at the state tournament.... All-District 30-5A First-Team performer.. Recognized as an All-Valley Team member. Freshman (2009-10): Captured the District 30-5A title in his first prep season... Qualified for the Class 5A State Championships after winning in sudden death at the Region IV 5A Championships at Palmview Golf Course in his hometown... Honored as the District Newcomer of the Year... Also named to the All-Valley Team.
