Fall - Did not compete. Spring - Made his collegiate debut at the Rice Intercollegiate... Fired back-to-back 73s in the final two rounds to tie for 38th at 223 at that event... Shot an even-par 72 in the second round at the Border Olympics... Finished in a tie for 29th at that event with a score of 225.

Played for head coach Terie Campbell... Talented all-around athlete who also competed on the basketball team... Received Student of the Year awards for math, science and English... Graduated in the top 10 percent of his class... Member of National Honors Society... Received Heart and Hustle Award in basketball and led the area in 3-point field goal percentage. Senior (2010-11): Class 5A All-State Second Team selection... Qualified for the final individual berth in the state tournament after winning a playoff... Earned Team Most Valuable Player Award and received Low Round honor for the fourth consecutive season... Member of the Texas Academic All-State Team. Junior (2009-10): Finished in a tie for second at the Region I-5A Tournament with a two-day total of 142, including a first-round 67, losing on the first playoff hole... Finished third at the AJGA Bob Estes Abilene Junior with a three-round score of 216... Posted a second-round 69 at that event... Earned a third-place finish at the Junior PGA Championship Section Qualifier with a score of 139, including a first-round 68... Finished fifth at the LJT Spring Preview.
