2008 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll
JUNIOR (2007-08)
Fall - Played in all four tournaments... Made his collegiate debut at the St. Mary's Invitational... Best finish was a fourth-place showing at the Del Walker Intercollegiate where he shot a career-low 4-under-par 209... Finished in 58th place with a 232 at the Kansas Invitational... Ended the fall season by shooting par or better in his last four rounds. Spring - Opened the Border Olympics with a 2-under-par 70... Posted the Cougars' lowest round of the tournament with a 68 in the opening 18 holes of the C-USA Championship.
MIDLAND JUNIOR COLLEGE
Competed for two years before transferring to UH... Member of 2006 NJCAA national championship team as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered at Seminole High for head coach Randy Hicks... Won district championship as a junior and senior... Named to the All-District teams and was a regional qualifier for four straight seasons... Was an All-District honoree as a pitcher on the baseball team... Also played quarterback for the football team and was a guard on the basketball team.

Born Oct. 29, 1986, in Andrews, Texas... Son of David and Lisa Shivers... Chose to attend UH because of the school's proud golfing tradition... Also recruited by Texas Tech.
