Started under legendary head coach Dave Williams back in 1955, the All-American Intercollegiate Invitational has enjoyed a long and prosperous history.

The tournament has played well for the Cougars over the years as they are the all-time tournament leaders in team championships with 23 as well as individual championships with 21.

Houston last won the team title in 2006.

Jordan Irwin's 13th-place finish was the Cougars top individual performance in last year's event. Jackie Lindsay also closed with a final round 4-over-par and a three-round total of 233.

This year, Houston enters the contest looking to improve on its 12th-place finish at last week's GADO/North Texas Classic.
