LAKE CHARLES, La. – Four University of Houston Men’s Golfers will compete as individuals at the McNeese Lake Charles Invitational beginning Monday morning at The Country Club at The Golden Nugget.

Sophomores Pryce Beshory, Tony Gil and Sam Elkington and redshirt freshman Andrew Gibson will represent the Cougars. Beshoory will begin Monday’s play off No. 13 with Elkington (No. 14), Gibson (No. 15) and Gil (No. 16) following.

Teams will play 36 holes beginning with an 8:30 a.m., shotgun start on the 6,869-yard, par-72 course. The Final Round tees off with an 8 a.m., shotgun start Tuesday.

The Cougars will compete in a field which features, Lamar, Stephen F. Austin, Missouri State, Southeastern Louisiana, Louisiana, Southern Miss, Marquette, Texas State, New Orleans, Nicholls and host McNeese.
Following the McNeese Lake Charles Invitational, the Cougars will travel to compete at the 3M Augusta Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., on April 1-2.

From there, Houston will compete in its regular-season finale at the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas, on April 7-8.
