University of Houston senior Adam Callahan finished in 11th place in the Gold Division of the men's decathlon at the College Station Relays on March 14-15 at Texas A&M. Callahan scored 5,739 points in the event.
Claston Bernard of LSU won the Gold Division with 8,050 points and Ryan Harlan of Rice was second with 7,948 points. Freshman Ron Viellon was 10th in the Silver Division of men's decathlon with 5,979 points.
Two Lady Cougars competed in the Bronze Division of the Heptathlon. Freshman Krystal Ward placed second with 4,965 points, while senior Lindsay Cobbs was 13th with 4,249 points.
The College Station Relays will continue on Saturday, March 16. Field events begin at 11:00 a.m. and running events start at noon.
