CAREER OVERVIEW
Served as point guard for two postseason teams (1988, 1991) during her time with the Scarlet and White... was the first guard off the bench as a freshman to help the Cougars to their first NCAA Tournament appearance during the 1987-88 season... averaged 11.8 points and 4.3 assists per game as a senior to lead the Cougars to the WNIT during the 1990-91 season... ended her career with 86 consecutive starts... ranks second all-time in school history with 434 career assists... also ranks sixth in 3-point percentage (.318), ninth in steals (176) and minutes played (2,776) and 10th in starts (86)... posted a career high 28 points against Rice as a senior... tallied 27 points against NCAA participant Texas Tech during her junior season and handed out 14 assists against No. 12 LSU during her sophomore campaign... Houston posted a 75-43 (.636) overall record and a 40-24 (.625) mark in Southwest Conference play during Brown's four seasons.
