2010-11 (JUNIOR)
One of six Cougars to see action in all 32 contests, including one start... served as one of the top threats off the bench for the Cougars, averaging 5.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game... tied for second on the squad with 25 3-pointers on 75 attempts (33.3 percent)... shot 37 percent (51-of-137) from the field and 65 percent (41-of-63) from the free-throw line... posted 11 points and converted a season-high eight free-throws on 10 attempts in the season-opening win over UT-Arlington on Nov. 14... followed with a season-high 17-point performance in Houston's 82-62 victory at New Mexico State... was 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-6 from 3-point range in 31 minutes against the Aggies... nailed back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a defining 24-6 run against NMSU... poured in 12 points, highlighted by three treys, at TCU on Dec. 2... posted fourth double-digit scoring performance at Houston Baptist on Dec. 30 with 10 points... went a perfect 2-of-2 from downtown at SMU on Jan. 9... tallied nine points against Memphis off a 3-of-3 effort from the field, including two 3-pointers... posted nine first-half points at Tulsa on Feb. 17.

From 3-point distance shot .375 (33-of-88) to rank fourth in the UH record book for single season 3-point field goal percentage... Finished second on the team in free throw percentage at .769 (50-of-65)... Started the season-opener at Gardner-Webb (11/13/09), scoring 11 points with four rebounds during a 4-of-12 shooting night... 2008-09 (FRESHMAN)
Came on strong, particularly in the first half of her freshman campaign... Played in all 29 games, drawing 13 starts... Ranked in the Top 10 freshman scorers in Conference USA and third on the Cougars, scoring 8.4 points per game... Twice selected as the C-USA Rookie of the Week... Shot .365 (76-of-208) from the floor... Ranked sixth in Conference USA in three point shooting percentage at .367 (29-of-79)... Spent much of the year as one of the top free throw shooters in the league, ending the season ranked third in C-USA with a .797 shooting percentage (63-of-79) from the charity stripe... Her success at the free throw line including a streak of 29 consecutive made free throw shots from Dec. 14 to Jan. 22... Made a splash in her collegiate debut, scoring a game-high 17 points on an 8-of-11 shooting night against SE Louisiana (11/14/08)... Also grabbed three rebounds and three steals... Against Gardner Webb (11/15/08) did much of damage from the free throw line where she went 7-of-8 on her way to 12 points, in addition to five rebounds and four assists... Selected Conference USA Rookie of the Week on Nov. 17... Went 2-of-10 from the field and 3-of-6 from the foul line for eight points against Oregon State (11/19/08)... Against TCU (11/25/08) led UH in scoring with 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field and a 4-of-4 mark from the free throw line... Scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting and grabbed four boards against North Texas (12/2/08)... Made a season-best four three-point field goals to contribute 14 points in a win over Texas Southern (12/5/08)... Scored 18 points, going 4-of-9 from the floor and 10-of-13 from the charity stripe with four rebounds against Cal Poly (12/14/08) ... HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Coppell High School where she played for head coach Mitchell Davis and Jerry Hoffman... Helped lead CHS to the District 6-5A Championship and an Area Final appearance as a freshman... Selected First Team All-District 6-5A following both her sophomore and junior season before being named co-District 6-5A Offensive MVP as a senior... Averaged 15 points, three rebounds and two assists per game... Member of the National Honor Society and a top 10% graduate of CHS... Also participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Born Roxana Azar Button in Mansfield, Texas, on June 19, 1990... Daughter of Terry and Ossie Button... Lists her brother Russell, who played college basketball at Midwestern State, as her major influence in sports... Majoring in psychology with a minor in chemistry... Aspires to be a doctor... In her spare time, enjoys going to the lake (skiing, tubing, wakeboarding), camping and mountain biking.
