Played in 22 games as a true freshman, and averaged 12.9 minutes per appearance... Scored 3.5 points and reeled in 2.2 rebounds per game... Shot 37.3 percent (25-for-67) from the floor and 34.5 percent (10-for-29) from distance... Collected six assists and seven steals... Finished second among Houston newcomers in scoring, rebounding, and 3-point field goals... Scored five points in the exhibition win over Huston-Tillotson (11/9)... Tallied three points and an assist in her first regular season game, a win over North Texas (11/14)... Ranked a three-star recruit by ESPN coming out of New Iberia High School... Was a four-year letter winner at New Iberia High School... Team was ranked as the No. 5 high school to watch in the state of Louisiana going into the 2013-14 season thanks to Kinard's 19.8 points per game average her junior year... Played every position on the floor except center in high school... Averaged 16.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 25 games played her senior season, while leading the Yellowjackets to the district playoffs.
