    -- The University of Houston's women's basketball move to 17-7, 7-4 C-USA after the lost to Marquette Sunday 68-58. Leading the Lady Cougars tonight was Sancho Lyttle had her 18th double-double on the year with 15 points and 12 rebounds, two assists and two steals. However, that was not enough. The Golden Eagles dominated the Lady Cougars on the boards 36-29, and shooting 51% on the game, while the Lady Cougars shot only 36.8%. The Lady Cougars struggled with second chance points with five, while the Golden Eagles had 13. The Lady Cougars had 16 fast break points while the Golden Eagles only had four in the game. Houston also posted 17 points off of their 18 turnovers. Joann Overstreet came up big with 15 points, two boards, seven assists and four steals with only two turnovers on the night. Daphne Andre who came off the bench to contribute 15 points and six rebounds and one steal. Kadi Creel made her first start on the year and added 10 points for the Lady Cougars. The Lady Cougars come home to Hofheinz pavilion to face East Carolina on February 18, 2005. This game will be television on both Fox Sports Southwest and Fox Sports South. Tip is at 8:00 CST. The Lady Cougars then fact Charlotte on Sunday Feb. 20, 2005 at 2:00 pm CST.
