HONOLULU (AP) - Sancho Lyttle had 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead No. 19 Houston over Hawaii 66-55 in the opening game of the Paradise Classic on Thursday night.

Hawaii closed to 55-46 on Milia Macfarlane's 3-pointer with 3:35 remaining, but Harris scored 10 seconds later and Lyttle added two free throws with 2:59 left to seal the game.

Houston's full-court press forced 11 second-half turnovers and 23 for the game.

The Lady Cougars (9-0) started the second half on an 8-0 run after leading 23-19 at halftime.

Hawaii led for the game's first 11 minutes, but a basket by Daphne Andre gave Houston a 12-11 advantage and the lead for good.
