HEAD COACH Todd Buchanan
On the look of exhaustion after the game
"It's been an exhausting week. I was very ill for four days, so I give so much credit to our kids who have played their hearts out. I also give a lot of credit to Coach (Wade) Scott, Coach (Tari) Cummings and Coach (Ravon) Justice for getting the kids so prepared for this game when I couldn't even make practice the day before we left. I'm in awe of how hard we played. That's what we're bringing to the table and that's how you beat the No. 21 team in the country."
On the importance of defeating a nationally-ranked non-conference team
"It's huge, no question. Again, I give my staff and kids all the credit in the world. They've all bought in. If that 40 minutes of basketball didn't prove it to anyone watching or listening, I don't know what else we can do. If we continue to guard people the way we have been, I like our chances against anybody."
On how to keep team focused for Sunday's game against Louisville
"This game is incredible for our momentum. We have to carry the momentum from today's huge win over to tomorrow. The luxury that we have is our five seniors, so there's not a whole lot to do. Our balance is coming back. Porsche (Landry) was our heart and soul again. I complement everybody, but I don't know if there was a bigger moment in the game than when Jasmine (Johnson) came in with Porsche in foul trouble and played solid defense and then hit the huge 3-pointer."
