STORYLINES
- Houston (12-9, 6-1 C-USA) enters on a six-game winning streak while UAB (10-10, 6-1 C-USA) has won three straight and six of seven.
- The Cougars knocked off Memphis 70-54 on Friday at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
- Twiggy McIntyre (15.6 ppg) and Tye Jackson (11.9) lead the way for Houston.
- McIntyre is averaging a league-high 20.7 ppg in C-USA play and has gone 37-39 from the line (.949) during that span. She earned C-USA POTW honors on Jan. 7 and Jan. 21.
- Jackson has averaged 7.5 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game in C-USA games.
- Courtney Taylor has averaged a double-double during league play thus far (11.4/10.7).
- UH is 11-3 when holding its opponents under 70 points.

- Houston head coach Joe Curl, who suffered a heart attack on Oct. 27, continues to recover at his Houston home. No timetable has been set for his return.
