May 20, 2014
HOUSTON--- Carly Kehn has been brought in as the new associate director of basketball operations for the University of Houston Women's Basketball program, head coach Ronald Hughey announced on Tuesday.
Kehn comes to Houston after spending three seasons (2011-14) as a team manager for the Ohio State Women's Basketball program. In that role she helped plan team meals for road games, coordinated practice times, recorded statistical data and broke down film.
"We're looking forward to having Carly join the program," Hughey said. "She's very organized and comes from a successful basketball program. She's young, energetic, and looking to make her mark in the industry."
In addition to her responsibilities at Ohio State, Kehn spent the summer of 2013 as a camp counselor and referee at Duke University's summer basketball camp, while spending the previous summer working Ohio State's summer basketball camp.
In 2010, Kehn served as an assistant coach for Cambridge High School's varsity and junior varsity basketball programs.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Kehn attended Ohio State and earned her bachelor's degree in sport and leisure studies, while also minoring in business administration and organizational communications.
