HOUSTON - Live, eat, and breathe college basketball? The University of Houston Women's Basketball program may be able to feed your appetite, as the Cougars are currently looking for student managers to assist the coaching staff with the team's daily operations for the 2014-15 season.
Candidates must be full-time enrolled students (12-or-more units) at University of Houston and be available to assist in daily practices for approximately two hours a day, Monday-Friday, and occasional weekends. The positions are on a volunteer basis and serve as a great opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a college basketball program.
The Cougars are also looking for practice squad players to participate in the team's weekly practices. Candidates must be available three to five days a week for approximately two-hour practice sessions, while being able to play basketball at a high level.
