HOUSTON – Head Coach Ronald Hughey and the Houston Cougar Women’s Basketball program are excited to announce the 2017-18 non-conference schedule, which features the program’s first trip to the Preseason WNIT and 11 additional contests, including a home matchup against former Southwest Conference rival Texas Tech on Dec. 3.
“We are really excited for the season, because our student-athletes have put in the work to get better,” Hughey said. “We have a very competitive group that did a lot of growing together as a single unit this summer, and I’m really proud of them. Our schedule gives us the opportunity to put that growth on display and continue to improve before heading into the American Conference play.”
