Free Parking Shuttle For Hoops Games

Nov. 1, 2017

HOUSTON – With only a few days before the season opener, University of Houston Women’s Basketball fans are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle from TDECU to games in 2017-18 at Health & PE Arena on the campus of nearby Texas Southern University.

The H&PE Arena garage will open, and complimentary shuttle service will begin 60 minutes prior to tipoff. Fans can be picked up to ride the shuttle to games in Lot 12A on the south side of TDECU Stadium near Gate 3.

Following Women’s Basketball games, fans will board the shuttle outside H&PE Arena near the intersection of Ennis and Ruth for the return trip to TDECU Stadium. Return service is scheduled to last for one hour following the game.

For regular-season games, cash parking is available for $5 in the H&PE Arena Garage while spaces are open. Fans should enter the H&PE Arena Garage off Blodgett Street.

Construction continues as Hofheinz Pavilion undergoes a $60 million renovation to become the Fertitta Center for the 2018-19 season. The extensive project was made possible by a generous $20 million gift from UH System Board of Regents Chairman Tilman J. Fertitta and his family.
