    HOUSTON - In addition to season tickets and non-conference single-game tickets, University of Houston women's basketball mini-plans are on sale now through the Athletics Ticket Office, while all-session ticket packages for the 2014 American Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championships will also go on sale Friday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m CT through the UH Ticket Office and via all Ticketmaster outlets.

    The Cougars enter the 2013-14 campaign a part of the new American Athletic Conference, which arguably will be the strongest in the nation, as it features the two teams that played in the NCAA title game a year ago, in defending national champion UConn and national runner-up Louisville.

    The conference tournament will be played in Uncasville, Conn. at the Mohegan Sun Arena, March 7-10, 2014. All 10 conference members will qualify for the tournament.

    Mini-plans

    Fans have options when choosing their mini-plans. In the Conference Mini-Plan, fans can buy tickets to all nine American Athletic Conference home games, including defending national champion UConn, national runner up Louisville, Cincinnati, Memphis and USF, with General Admission seating starting at $75 and Floor Seating selling for $170.

    Flex Ticket packages are also available all season long. Fans can purchase them for $100 and receive 15 game tickets, which can be used at any time throughout the season, whether it's for a big group for one game, or 15 single game tickets, or anywhere in between.

    American Athletic Conference Tournament Ticket Information

    Package tickets to all nine games of the championship will be priced at $99 each, discounted by nearly one third of the face value. Ticket offices at all 10 American institutions will have all-session packages available, and tickets may also be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office beginning Nov. 15. Daily box office hours at the arena are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.  All ticket purchases are subject to additional convenience fees.

    Tickets can also be acquired by phone or online. To purchase via phone, call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Both the Mohegan Sun website (www.mohegansun.com) and Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) will have packages available for online purchase. For group sales (10 or more) information and discounts, please contact the Connecticut Sun Group Sales Department at (860) 862-4000.

    Season Ticket Information

    Season tickets for the 2013-14 season are now on sale in the Athletics Ticket Office, starting as low as $100 for general admission seating. Season tickets for floor seating are available for only $250.

    To purchase season tickets, fans can call 713-Go-COOGS (462-6647) or 877-COUGAR-5 (268-4275) or visit the Athletics Ticket Office, located on the first floor of the Athletics/Alumni Center from 8 a.m., to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or online at UHCougars.com and following the appropriate links.

    Fans are encouraged to purchase their season tickets early for the best seats in the house.
