With only two student-athletes competing, the Cougars will not be eligible for the team title on the 6,002-yard, par-70 course. Houston will face host and 17th-ranked Florida, No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 10 Arizona, Florida State, Furman, Kent State, Miam (Fla.), Ohio State, Old Dominion, Penn State, Texas A&M, USF, UTSA and Virginia.
Fans should note that this weekend's tournament was a change from the Cougars' originally published schedule. Houston was first scheduled to compete at Notre Dame's Clover Cup this weekend in Mesa, Ariz., but made the change in their schedule at the start of the spring season.
Sophomore Raegan Bremer and junior Courtney Ferguson will compete as individuals in the starting lineup for head coach Gerrod Chadwell and assistant coach Mary Michael Maggio.
Bremer has been steady for the Cougars all season, posting four top-25 finishes in her five events to date. In her most recent outing, the Anaheim, Calif., native fired an opening-round and career-low-tying 69 at the Central District Invitational and tied for 22nd at 217.
Ferguson is the elder stateswoman of the Cougars' first Women's Golf team and has been a consistent leader. In her most recent outing, the Houston native finished at 3-under-par 213 and enjoyed a career-best finish, tying for 10th at the Central District Invitational, thanks to a second-round and career-low 69.
It was Ferguson's second top-20 showing this season and the third of her career after transferring from Oklahoma State.

Following the SunTrust Gator Invitational, the Cougars return to action when they compete at the San Diego State Farms Invitational on March 24-26 at The Farms Golf Club in San Diego, Calif.
From there, the team will return home to play locally at the HBU Husky Invitational on March 31-April 1 at Riverbend Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas.
