AUSTIN, Texas -- The University of Houston Women's Golf program opens play at the Betsy Rawls Invitational on Monday morning at UT Golf Club.
The Cougars will play 36 holes Monday on the 6,491-yard, par-72 course with the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

Competing for fourth-year head coach Gerrod Chadwell, the Cougars will be represented by junior Leonie Harm, seniors Megan Thothong and Allie Andersen, junior Yuka Kajiki and senior Courtney Tibiletti.
The Cougars will play 36 holes Monday, beginning at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start. Tuesday's Final Round tees off with an 8:30 a.m., shotgun start.
Houston will compete in a 15-team field, which features Arizona State, Baylor, Clemson, Furman, Houston, Kent State, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Oklahoma, San Diego State, SMU, Texas, Texas State, Texas Tech, UNLV and host Texas.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars posted a score of 871 to finish 10th at the season-opening Mason Rudolph Championship on Sept. 15-17 in Franklin, Tenn.
Harm and Thothong each posted three straight rounds of par or better with Harm's Final-Round 67 leading the Cougars in the tournament. Harm finished at 5-under 211 to tie for 14th, while Thothong tied for 22nd at 213.
Following the Betsy Rawls Invitational, the Cougars return to action in the Lone Star State when they tee off at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational. That three-day tournament will be held Oct. 22-24 at Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas.
