Soccer Game at UTSA Time Change

The Cougars soccer match against UTSA Sept. 19, has been moved from 7 p.m. to 1 p.m.

The University of Houston soccer team dropped their first match of the 2010 season losing to Baylor 1-0 in Waco, Texas on Sunday. The Cougars record goes to 3-1-1 on the season.

Soccer Draws TCU 2-2 in Double Overtime Match

In a double overtime match, the Cougars walked away with a 2-2 tie against TCU Friday night. Freshman Sami Sackos provided both assists for the Cougars.

Soccer Travels to TCU and Baylor This Weekend

The Cougar soccer team heads north this weekend to face intrastate rivals TCU and Baylor. Houston plays TCU 7 p.m., on Friday and faces Baylor at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Houston Cougars defeated the Louisiana - Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns 2-0 Friday evening in Lafayette, La. Freshman Nicole Duarte and junior captain Stephanie Derieg scored two first half goals and that was all that goalkeeper Cami Koski and the defense needed for the victory.
