Will immediately compete for a starting spot. 2003: Only action came against SMU on Sept. 7 when she played the entire second half of Houston's 3-0 loss . . . gave up one of SMU's three goals and had two saves. 2002: Redshirted. 2001 (Sophomore): Played in two matches, taking part in 2-0 shutouts, against Wis.-Green Bay and DePaul... in just under 31 minutes, she was not forced to make a save. 2000 (Freshman): Saw time in two matches and did not allow a goal, playing 20 minutes on the year... the defense in front of her shut down opponents, not allowing a shot on goal in her time... combined with Mo Bothwell and Ashleigh Koenig for shutouts of Louisville (Sept. 15) and Houston (Oct. 13). High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and was the Lakers' captain as a senior... earned All-State Honorable Mention as a senior and was a two-time all-conference first team selection and four-year member of the academic all-conference team... was the winner of Prior Lake's Most Dedicated Player Award... was a member of the Minnesota ODP team for two years and also led her St. Paul Blackhawks Club team to state championship in 1999... a multi-talented athlete, she earned a letter and was all-conference honorable mention in nordic skiing, lettered in hockey her sophomore season, and lettered four times in track also earning all-state recognition... academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society. Personal: Born November 6, 1981, in Prior Lake, Minn.... is the daughter of John and Pam Cook and has an older brother and a twin brother... her uncle, Dan Hinkle, played basketball at Alma and Cumberland... biology major. |
