Personal: Born June 4, 1985, in Midlothian, Va.... parents are Mark and Sandra Dickman... father was a four-year letterwinner in baseball at Houston (1980-83) and played Double A baseball in the Toronto Blue Jays' farm system (1983-87)... communications major... chose Houston over Virginia Wesleyan, Bridgewater, Coasta Carolina and East Tennessee State... nickname is "Jules."
