2002 (Freshman): Was the Cougars' starting goalie, appearing in all 19 matches with 17 starts... her 90 saves (4.74 per game) on the year ranked third among Conference USA leaders... registered four shutouts, tied for sixth in the league... with 25 goals allowed in 19 games (1.37 per game averager), she ranked ninth in C-USA, and was eighth with an average of 4.74 saves per match... her four shutouts currently tie former Cougar goalie Michelle Denomme, who registered four shutouts in Houston's inaugural season in 1998, for second-most in school history... her 1.37 goals allowed average ranks second all-time for a single season in Cugar history... her 1643:22 minutes of action rank second all-time.

High School: Played soccer under Jim Kelly at Glenbard West HS... named Illinois State Select Keeper for 2001 and 2002... ranked in the top five High School Regional Keepers for goals against average... also lettered in volleyball.

Personal: Born February 25, 1984, in Hinsdale, Illinois to parents are Renee and Johann Ferguson... also recruited by Notre Dame, Michigan, Northwestern, Northern Michigan, St. John's and Trinity... majoring in business... favorite hobbies are playing volleyball, watching movies, camping, sailing and reading... chose UH because of the "The coaches and returning players and new recruits all want to bring this soccer program to a nationally recognized power. UH has a perfect setting for my future goals in both soccer and academics."
