College (Houston): Spent the last four years as a starting guard/forward on the Lady Cougar basketball squad that claimed both the C-USA regular season and tournament championships in 2004 en route to playing in the NCAA Tournament . . . Started 119 of 124 games from 2000-04 . . . Has played in two WNIT Tournaments in 2001 and 2002, including the championship game against Oregon in 2002 . . . Ranks among the Lady Cougars' all-time leaders in five categories, including steals, steals average, assists and three-point field goals made and attempted . . . Was named C-USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2002. High School: Was a standout for South Sioux City High in basketball and also participated in soccer, track and volleyball . . .
