Houston, Texas - Houston Director of Athletics Mack Rhoades announced the resignation of Soccer Head Coach Susan Quill on Wednesday. Quill, who served as the head coach for five seasons, left to become head coach at The Kinkaid School in Houston.

Quill finished her Houston tenure with a 33-50-11 overall mark.

"We thank Susan for her five seasons as our soccer head coach and wish her nothing but the best as she joins the staff over at Kinkaid," Director of Athletics Mack Rhoades said.

Quill began her tenure at UH as an assistant coach in 2005 and was elevated to head coach before the 2007 season. The Houston native helped the club to a 12-5-4 record in 2010 but failed to reach the Conference USA Tournament in four of her five seasons.

A national search for a replacement will begin immediately.
