HOUSTON — With the 2013 Houston Soccer season just one week away, the Cougars and second-year head coach Chris Pfau have announced the addition of three Division I college transfers to this year’s squad as Courtney Dudley (Colorado), Lexa Green (Akron) and Sydnie Green (Missouri) join and are all eligible to compete this year for Houston.
“I am very excited about the addition of these three players,” Pfau said. “All three bring great background and experience that will add to our team. Courtney (University of Colorado) and Sydnie (University of Missouri) both hail from big programs and competed against the top teams in the country. This experience will help us as we begin play in The American Athletic Conference.”
“I was fortunate enough to coach Lexa at Akron and know the kind of talent she brings to this sport. She has been in a couple of Inter-Regional camps and can come in right away knowing how we play. All three are expected to make immediate impacts this season,” Pfau said.
