HOUSTON -- Houston Soccer returns to Carl Lewis Complex to continue its homestand this Friday when it welcomes Stephen F. Austin at 7 p.m. All fans will receive free admission.
The Cougars will enter Friday's game with a 1-1-0 record, hosting SFA (2-0-0) who is coming off a 1-0 win over Texas State in Nacogdoches, Texas this past Sunday.
LAST TIME OUT
Houston dropped a 2-0 decision in its home opener to Georgia last Sunday. Despite a constant offensive attack, Georgia only put two goals in net on 27 shots. Senior goalkeeper Cami Koski had six saves, and didn't allow a goal in her 45 minutes of play during the second half.
The Cougars' enter play with an even record after defeating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, in their season opener before falling to Georgia. Junior forward Kayla Walker and senior midfielder Kylie Cook lead the team in goals with one apiece. Junior forward Alexis Weaver and senior midfielder Jasmine Martinez each have tallied one assist on the year. Senior goalkeeper Sydney George holds a record of 1-1-0 after starting both contests.
SFA comes to Houston with a 2-0-0 record. The Ladyjacks started the year with a 1-0 victory at Rice, and then returned home to earn a 1-0 victory over Texas State. Freshman midfielder Hailey Hunt and junior forward Chelsea Raymond lead SFA in goals with one each. Junior goalkeeper Morgan Glick and senior Lacey Lee lead the team in wins each earning a victory in goal.
HOUSTON vs. SFA HISTORY
Houston and SFA will meet for the ninth time in program history. The all-time series is tied at 4-4 with SFA winning the last three meetings. The last time these two programs met was on August 17, 2012 in Nacogdoches, Texas with SFA defeating Houston 2-0. Friday's contest will mark the sixth meeting in Houston. The last game in Houston took place on September 10, 2010, which led to a SFA 1-0 win between the two schools
2013 SEASON TICKETS
A season ticket package is available for $50 and is good for all remaining five home matches. The tickets are also part of a flexible ticket package that is good for any game. With the flexible ticket package, fans are given the opportunity to either use one ticket for each home game or multiple tickets to a few games.

Following Friday's contest vs. SFA, Houston Soccer will hit the road for its first true road trip when it travels to California to take on Cal State Northridge at 9:30 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 6 and San Diego State at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, Sept. 8.
