After being deadlocked at halftime, UTEP's Jenny Andre broke the 1-1 tie in the 50th minute with a header off Laura Glasspoole's corner kick.

Despite being outshot 26-14, the Cougars retaliated with a goal by Ashley Fortenberry in the 86th minute and then broke the tie in the final minute of the game on a goal by freshman Nicole Aubuchon.
