HOUSTON - Freshman goalkeeper Cami Koski has been named Conference USA Co-Defensive Player of the Week after posting two shutouts in the Cougars wins over the weekend. The Missouri City, Texas, native posted a season-high of six saves in the Houston win over Colorado College Friday evening. She followed that performance with a five-save effort to lead the Cougars to 4-0 in conference play in the 2-0 win over UTEP. "Cami has improved each and every week this season and I'm really proud that she's being recognized. She's only a redshirt freshman but already a tremendous presence and leader on this team." Koski holds a 7-2-1 record and has recorded six shutouts so far this season as she has helped lead the Cougars to their best start in program history at 9-2-1. Koski has already moved into fourth place in career shutouts in program history.
