    Houston, Texas - The University of Houston women's soccer team battled Saint Louis to scoreless double overtime match Sunday afternoon on John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium.

    Houston kept the pressure on the Saint Louis defense throughout the second half as they outshot the Billikens 8-0. Overall, the Billikens were outshot 16-4 by the Cougar offense.

    Junior goalkeeper, Robin Cate, recorded her third shutout of the season for the Cougars. Cate, who boasts a 2.0 goals against average, grabbed three saves on the afternoon. Also for Houston, sophomore Becca Smith tallied a game high five shots, including two on goal.

    Houston, which has a 6-7-1 overall record and a 2-4-1 Conference USA mark, will travel to Marquette on Friday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. and then to DePaul on October 15 for a 1:00 p.m. showdown. Marquette remains the only team without a loss in Conference USA play with a 6-0 league record.
