HOUSTON -- Prepping for its final three regular season road games of the year, Houston Soccer will travel to Rutgers for a 6 p.m. CT contest on Thursday before meeting Memphis on the road Sunday at 1 p.m. CT in American Athletic Conference play.

The Cougars enter the weekend with a 1-6-3 record and a 0-4 mark in league action.

"One of the things our team talked about right before the Louisville game was that we are playing some of the best teams in the country week in and week out," head coach Chris Pfau said. "We can do one of two things: play scared and hope good things happen or embrace the challenge. We are playing not only great teams, but also some of the best players in the country.  This is a test to see how good you are, challenge yourself to play at this level and don't have regrets. I thought we did that very well on Sunday and if we can do that the rest of the season I will be very happy."
