Kristin Carlyle from Sugar Land, Texas signs on as a Lady Cougar

Head Coach Bill Solberg of the women's soccer team announced today the signing of Kristin Carlye for next year's Cougar squad.

Carlyle hails from Sugar Land, Texas and will be listed as a midfield/ forward. Carlyle was Gatorade Player of the Year, and Dutchtown, La. Player of the Year. She also leads the Houston area in assists.

"Kristin fits in very well with this incoming class. She brings speed, quickness, agility, and a passion for the game. She will be able to make an impact immediately as a forward or outside midfielder, commented Bill Solberg.

Carlyle plans to pursue a degree in Interior Design. She is excited about playing in front of a hometown crowd

You can catch Carlyle, and all of the new signees in action beginning in late August.
