This Season: By far the best offensive player for the Cougars... worked really hard on her defense in the off-season... if what she put in during the off-season pays off, she will be an All American.
AT UH Sophomore (2003): First-Team All-Conference USA ... 2003 South All-Region Second Team ... started all 60 games for the Cougars ... led the Cougars in 11 different offensive categories including batting average (.364), runs scored (35), doubles (13), total bases (123), slugging percentage (.699), hits (64), steals and steal attempsts (10/13), on base percentage (.440), home runs (14), and hit by pitch (3) ... second on the team with 46 runs batted in ... 14 home runs set new single-season school record ... had two multi home run games ... had a nine game hit streak, eight of which were multi hit games ... 23 multi hit games ... went 2-for-4 with two home runs, five runs batted in and two runs scored against Texas Southern ... went 2-for-3 with two home runs, five runs batted in and two runs scored against UAB Freshman (2002): Named the Conference USA Freshman of the Year ... earned C-USA All-Freshman Team honors ... was among the C-USA leaders in seven offensive categories ... standout appeared in 58 games, including 53 starts for the Cougars ... was second on the team with a .347 batting average ... set a new program single season record for doubles with 11 ... second on the team in homeruns (7) and RBI (35) ... tied with Arelis Ferreris with a team-leading .559 slugging percentage ... began the season with a six-game hit streak, going 6-for-11 with a homerun, three doubles, seven RBI, and three runs scored at the Southwest Texas B&G Properties Tournament ... earned C-USA Hitter of the Week honors for February 9 ... went on a team-high ten-game hitting streak beginning at South Florida and ending with a homerun against Southern Mississippi
