Tallied 40 appearances and 34 starts, posting a 32-3 record with 3 saves... named to the C-USA All-Tournament Team, All-Conference USA Team, NFCA All-American Second Team and NFCA All-South Region Team... struck out 267 batters while maintaining a 0.68 ERA ... pitched 31 complete games, 16 shutouts, 24 walks, 23 earned runs in 236.2 innings... Held opposing batters to a .157 batting average...posted a 0.56 ERA in C-USA games with a 15-0 record in 18 appearances... Racked up a 31-9 record on a 1.42 ERA with 313 strikeouts in 271.1 innings of work en route to her second consecutive Conference USA Pitcher of the Year award and NFCA All-South Region Second-Team selection...her 31 wins and 313 strikeouts headlined C-USA and eclipsed her own single-season program records from 2006...one of 11 pitchers nationally to reach 30 wins and one of 14 pitchers nationally to reach 300 Ks...won 15 of her 16 decisions in conference play...her 15 wins in C-USA action matched Lindsay Chouinard of DePaul's record set in 2003...tossed a program single-season mark of 12 shutouts, including seven against conference opponents...recorded double-digit strikeouts in 13 of 36 starts...held opponents to a .179 batting average, which was second in C-USA, and matched Jenny Johnson's mark during the 2004 season for a program single-season record...her 1.42 ERA was second-lowest in C-USA and the second-lowest mark in program history..named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week a league-best four times...turned in a 14-strikeout performance in season debut against Ole Miss (Feb. 9)...fired 3.2 innings of shutout relief in victory over No. 11 Michigan (Feb. 11)...tossed one-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts against Texas State (Feb. 15)...threw a two-hitter with 11 Ks against McNeese State (Feb. 23)...compiled third career no-hitter and punched out 14 batters against Iowa State (Feb. 25)...had a stretch of 37.1 innings over six appearances without allowing a run (Feb. 25-March 7), which included 5.2 frames of one-hit relief at No. 2 Arizona State (March 3)...set a program single-game mark, racking up 16 strikeouts at Memphis (March 24) ... tallied a three-hit shutout with 11 Ks in Houston's CSTV debut against UAB (April 1)...strung together 30.1 consecutive scoreless innings in conference play (April 7-29) which included consecutive shutouts against UCF (April 21 & 22)...fired a three-hitter with nine Ks as Houston clinched its first Conference USA regular-season crown at East Carolina (April 29)...broke the program's career strikeout record against UCF (May 10) at C-USA Tournament...tossed a two-hitter with seven Ks against East Carolina (May 12) in C-USA Championship game en route to an All-Tournament Team selection and MVP honors...earned 30th win by totaling 10 strikeouts against No. 23 ULL (May 19) to open NCAA College Station Regional...touched up for only one run on five hits in UH's 8-1 win over No. 7 Texas A&M (May 20)...eight of her 23 hits on offense went for extra bases...knocked a two-run homer in the sixth inning of a 2-0 win against Texas State (Feb. 15)...belted a pair of three-run homers and drove home six runs in series finale at Memphis (March 25)...went 1-for-2 with a solo homer against UCF (April 21)...was 1-for-3 with a solo shot against Marshal (May 5)...tallied a hit in three of her last five outings of the season (May 12-20).

2006 Season (Sophomore)
Tallied a 16-10 record with a staff-low 1.71 ERA en route to Conference USA Pitcher of the Year honors and an NFCA All-South Region Second-Team selection...her 1.71 ERA was third-lowest in C-USA and the third-lowest single-season mark in program history...fifth in C-USA with 182 strikeouts...her 16 victories and 182 strikeouts were single-season program records...fifth in C-USA limiting opponents to a .205 batting average...tallied five shutouts and started the season with a one-hitter, striking out eight against No. 22 Oregon (Feb. 12)...named C-USA Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 13) for the third time in her career...set program individual-game record mowing down 15 batters over nine innings against McNeese State (Feb. 15)...became fourth UH pitcher to surpass 100-career strikeout mark against the Cowgirls...fifth win of the season was a two-hit shutout against Ole Miss (March 3)...pitched 3.2 innings of scoreless relief in series finale against East Carolina (March 12)...only second player in C-USA history to win Hitter and Pitcher of the Week award in the same week (March 13)...touched up for only one run, while striking out 10 at UCF (Mar. 25)...notched 10th win of the season with 3.2 innings of shutout relief at UCF (Mar. 26)...struck out 12 batters in a loss to UTEP (April 1)...fired a five-hit shutout at Marshall (April 14)...punched out 12 in a two-hit shutout of Southern Miss (April 22)...picked up 15th win with a four-hit shutout of UAB (April 30)...touched up for only one hit and struck out six in elimination game of C-USA Tournament against East Carolina (May 12)...was tough-luck loser allowing an unearned run and two infield hits against Tulsa (May 13)...offensively was a C-USA Second-Team selection as an utility player, tallying 10 multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games...fifth on the team producing 44 hits...tied for second on the squad smacking nine doubles...went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs against Northwestern State (Feb. 18)...was 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (Feb. 19)...registered a nine-game hitting streak (March 4 - 12)...went 3-for-5 with three RBIs in game one at Texas-Arlington (March 7), including game-winning two-run single in the 11th inning...was 3-for-3 with a run scored against East Carolina (March 11)...concluded ECU series (March 12) going 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI-double...went 3-for-3 with an RBI at UCF (March 26)...was 1-for-4 with an RBI-single at Marshall (April 14)...went 3-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs against Grambling State (April 25).

2005 Season (Freshman)
Member of the 2005 C-USA All-Freshman team after being named C-USA Pitcher of the Week on two occassions (Mar. 9, Mar. 21)...fired the program's first perfect game with career-best 10 strikeouts against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Mar. 14)...tied for the staff-lead with Carla Kennimer garnering 11 wins...paced the Cougar staff with 83 strikeouts...33 of her 83 strikeouts came in C-USA action, that mark was 10th in the conference...she was tied for fourth in C-USA giving up a .187 opponent batting average in league games...solid hitter totaling seven multi-RBI and five multi-hit games...picked up first career win with a complete game at Sam Houston State (Feb. 11)...threw another complete game punching out five hitters in a 4-3 victory over No. 11 Baylor (Feb. 18)...gave up only two hits while mowing down nine batters against Central Connecticut State (Feb. 26)...knocked in two runs on a single against the Blue Devils for her first career RBI...threw another two-hitter giving up an unearned run at Charlotte (Mar. 19)...knocked in game-winning run in the eighth inning against No. 16 Nebraska (Mar. 6)...knocked two-run homer against No. 11 Texas A&M (Mar. 10)...blasted a three-run shot at East Carolina (Mar. 25)...tallied second career no-hitter with only one walk against Saint Louis (Apr. 9)...also ripped a three-run homer against the Billikens...tossed a three-hit shutout at Southern Miss (Apr. 16)...struck out eight in a complete game loss against USF (Apr. 23)...credited with win against USF (May 13) at the C-USA Tournament after allowing only one hit in the final 2.1 innings of UH's 4-3 come-from-behind victory.

Was a member of the 2004 high school state champions that went 34-1 at Hollywood Christian in Florida...named 2004 Player of the Year...member of the National Honor Society and the Dean's List.

Daughter of David and Ronda Shamblin...born on July 11, 1985...majoring in health promotions...also recruited by LSU, Iowa, UCF and Samford.
