AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Houston softball team arrived in Austin, Texas, this afternoon and spent the day prepping for tomorrow's opening game of the NCAA Tournament against Auburn.

Friday's game against Auburn (33-21) is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch with the coverage being carried by ESPN3. Fans can also follow the action on Twitter by following @UHCougarSB or for pitch-by-pitch stats, GameTracker will be available as well.

Houston arrived at the University of Texas and participated in a short practice at McCombs Field, host site for the NCAA Regional. After spending two hours at the practice session, the Cougars headed to dinner at the Hula Hut on Lake Austin before retiring for the night.
