HOUSTON -- The University of Houston softball team is currently seeking students that are interested in being a team manager or volunteer for its team beginning during the 2009 season.

Both positions will assist the teams in many different areas including practice and game day set-up and equipment.

The Cougar softball team finished 2008 with a program best 54-11 record, including its first NCAA Super Regional appearance. They also are the reigning Conference USA regular season champions for the second straight year.
