Haley Outon to Play in NPF Championship Final

HOOVER, Ala. - Former Houston Softball catcher Haley Outon and the Akron Racers advanced to the National Pro Fastpitch Championship final game after defeating the Chicago Bandits 1-0 this afternoon.
The team will face the USSSA Pride in Game One of the Championship Round tonight at 7 p.m. followed by Game Two on Saturday at 1 p.m. An if necessary Game Three will be played after Game Two. All games will be played at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Ala.
Outon has played in 31 games for the Racers and has recorded a .208 batting average with 16 hits, 14 singles and two home runs.
The championship final will be aired live on CBS Sports Network.
