HOUSTON - The University of Houston softball team begins their fall slate of games this weekend at the Spring Klein College Classic at Collins Park.

The fall schedule consists of two tournaments and an exhibition game against Team USA on Oct. 11 at Cougar Softball Stadium.

Houston faces Louisiana-Lafayette (3:00 p.m.) and UTSA (5:30 p.m.) on Saturday.

The Cougars ended the Ragin' Cajuns season last year by defeating them twice in the NCAA Regional.

On Sunday, Houston faces Baylor (12:30 p.m.) and Texas Southern (3:00 p.m.)

Houston topped Baylor in the Spring Klein College Classic last season, and won the season series (2-1) against the No. 11 Lady Bears.

Tickets for the game against Team USA can be purchased at a booth this weekend at Klein Collins Park.
