HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Softball program will continue its fall schedule with a 4:30 p.m. doubleheader against San Jacinto College on Wednesday at Cougar Softball Stadium.
Fans should note first pitch has been moved back 30 minutes from the original publicized 4 p.m. start.
Admission is free to the public.
In their fall opener, the Cougars defeated Blinn College, 4-0, in game one of a doubleheader before the second game was washed out in the top of the fourth inning with Houston leading 7-0, becoming a no contest.
Following Wednesday, the Cougars will close their fall schedule with four games at the Spring Klein College Classic at Collins Park in Spring, Texas, across Oct. 14-15.
Houston is coming off a 30-25 campaign in 2017. The Cougars, who were 12-6 in American Athletic Conference play, finished second in The American for the regular season and added a runner-up finish at The American Championship. The two finishes are both the highest respective finishes for the program as a member of the league.
The Houston Athletics Ticket Office is once again proud to offer the Shasta Pass for the 2017-18 season. For just $80, Cougar fans can purchase one Shasta Pass, which allows season-long general admission entrance to all Houston Volleyball, Soccer, Women's Basketball and Softball home games.
The Shasta Pass offers Houston fans a substantial saving as single-game tickets start at $5 for all four sports. To purchase a Shasta Pass, call 713-GO-COOGS or CLICK HERE.
