Part of two program-best relay teams during the 2017-18 season (200 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay)... posted a season-best time of 1:54.16 in the 200 Free at the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championships... notched a season-best time of 23.49 in the 50 Free at the Houston First Chance Meet.

JUNIOR 2016-17

Named to the All-American Athletic Conference Team in three events...Named CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention...Competed in three individual and three relay events at American Athletic Conference Championships...Member of three record setting relay teams...the third place 200-yard free relay (1:31.61)...the third place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:20.71)...the second place 200-yard medley relay (1:39.17)...Swam the second fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle, 22.93, to finish fourth overall...Netted 26 points for the Cougars...Won the 50-yard freestyle (24.73) at the Incarnate Word dual meet on Jan. 11...Notched five top-five finishes during dual meet season.


Named to American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team...Competed in three events at American Athletic Conference Championships...Placed eight overall in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.35 to tie for fifth fastest time in program history...Finished 11th overall in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.05...Notched 12 top-five finishes during the season.

FRESHMAN 2014-15

Competed in three individual events for the Cougars at the American Athletic Conference Championship... Swam a PR in the 50-yard freestyle (24.30) and the 100-yard freestyle (52.89) at the season-ending meet... Posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring semester... Earned Houston's Team Academic MVP award.


Swam for the South Eastern Virginia Aquatics team... She was named Top 5 Air Force Finalist in the Department of Defense-wide 2013 Military Child of the Year competition, sponsored by Operation Homefront... Was awarded the SEVA Competitive Spirit Award and competed at 2013 NCSA Junior Nationals.


Daughter of Ed and Lynne Horner... Has one sister, Madison... Volunteers at the Houston Humane Society... Is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars... Majoring in political science, with the career ambition of working as a lawyer for the CIA... Wants to become a Senator and eventually serve as a Supreme Court Justice... Hobbies include shopping and gluten-free baking.
