Was a regular performer for the Cougars in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events? Also competed in the distance events.

2001-02 SEASON
Competed in the 50 freestyle, 100, 200 and 1000 freestyle, 100 fly, 50, 100 and 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 and 400 IM during the season.

2000-2001 SEASON
Competed for the Cougars in 200-yard freestyle, 200-individual medley and 200-backstroke at the National Independent Championships in Oakland, Michigan... Displayed further versatility swimming the 1,000-freestyle, 400-IM, 100-backstroke and 100-breaststroke in various dual meets... Scored for the Cougars in meet wins over North Texas and Louisiana-Monroe... Member of UH?s relay teams.

HIGH SCHOOL
All-state swimmer at Enid High School in Enid, Oklahoma... Was named the state?s Athlete of the Year in 1998... Member of the state title-winning 200-freestyle relay team in 2000... Served as team captain for two years... Coached in swimming by Danny Maxey...also earned a varsity letter as a midfielder for the soccer team... Outstanding student who graduated with honors in the top 20 percent of her class.
