Competed in the UH/Rice/LSU/Tulsa Duals...Placed 13th in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.84)...Earned a 16th-place finish at in the 50-yard freestyle (25.37)...Helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team to fifth place (3:37.54) and seventh in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:43.36)...Also swam against Texas A&M...Placed second with the 400-yard freestyle relay team (3:34.09)...Earned fourth place in the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.51) against the Aggies...Placed fourth in the 50-yard butterfly (27.45) and second in the 100-yard freestyle relay (45.68) against Texas in the last regular-season meet of the season...Recorded a personal record in the 100-yard butterfly (57.65) for 12th place at the Conference USA Championships.

Was named 2009 Student-Athlete of the Year...Earned Zimbabwe Runner-Up Junior Sportswoman of the Year honors in 2007...Still holds the Zimbabwe high school record in the 50-yard freestyle...Also participated in field hockey and water polo...Named to the first-team in both sports.
