2000-2001: Scored for the Cougars in the mile at the National Independent Championships in Oakland, Michigan...finished 16th overall in the rugged 1,650-freestyle...also competed in the 200-butterfly and the 400-individual medley at the NICs after recording personal bests in the events earlier in the season...season best in the 400-IM was at the conference meet...set a new personal mark in the 200-butterfly in a dual meet at Texas A&M...1999-2000: Showed steady improvement all season, posting personal bests in four different events...biggest contribution to the team was in the distance events...saved the best for last, recording her best times at the NIC’s in Boca Raton, Florida...one place away from scoring for the Cougars in two events at the NICs, finishing 17th in both the 200-yard butterfly and the mile... also competed in the 500-free at the conference meet...1998-99: Capped a solid freshman season...competed in a variety of events but specialty was the distance freestyle...best times were early in the season...competed in the 200-, 500- and 1650-yard freestyle at the Texas Invitational...also swam the 1000-freestyle at Rice...participated in the 100-butterfly at the NIC’s...High School: Four year letterwinner in swimming at Judson High School in Converse, Texas...three year District 26-5A champion in the 100-fly... also earned first place district finishes in the 200- and 500-free... regional medalist in the 100-fly...honored as an Academic All-American ...served as team co-captain for one year...coached by Scott K.
