2000-2001: Completed first season of Division I swimming with quality results...scored for the Cougars in the breaststroke events at the National Independent Championships in Oakland, Michigan...finished 13th in the 200-breaststroke at the NIC’s and 14th in the 100...season-best time in the 100 was 1:09.15 at conference...swam a 2:27.68 in the 200 in a dual meet on the road at Texas A&M...was 17th in the NIC prelims of the 100-butterfly with the third-best mark on the team all season, a career-best 1:01.30...also competed in the 200-butterfly, the individual medley and freestyle sprints in regular season dual meets...High School: Varsity letterwinner at West Orange Stark High School in Orange, Texas... competed in District 20-4A... coached by Karen Bussell...also won a varsity letter as a member of the Mustangs cross country team...Valedictorian of her senior class who scored a 1,300 on the SAT...member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta...
