    One of the world's finest divers ... Dominated almost every diving meet in which she entered ... Recorded the team's top 15 scores on the one-meter springboard and the team's top six scores on the three-meter springboard ... Saw her 36-event winning streak snapped at the NCAA Championships on the one-meter board but started a new streak the next night by defending her championship on the three-meter board ... Repeated as NCAA National Champion on the three-meter springboard with 625.05 points ... Became only the fourth diver to win back-to-back events in 20 years ... Set new NCAA and NCAA meet records with her point total in that event ... Finished as National Runner-Up in the NCAA Championships on the one-meter springboard ... Swept through the one-meter and three-meter events at the NCAA Zone D Diving Qualifier, winning by 60 points in the one-meter event and by more than 150 points in the three-meter competition ... Competed in platform diving at the Conference USA Championships for the first time in her UH career and took top honors in sweeping all three diving events ... Recorded 704.05 points in the three-meter competition at the C-USA Championships to take top honors in the three-meter event ... Captured the first-ever C-USA one-meter springboard championship with 370 points, more than 100 points higher than her closest competitor ... Took top honors in both springboard events at Texas A&M on the way to being named C-USA Diver of the Week for the fifth time ... Swept the springboard events against SMU in UH's home season finale ... Set new Cougar season bests in both springboard events against TCU in UH?s first-ever Conference USA dual meet ... Tallied 414.30 points on the 3-meter board and 357.98 points in the 1-meter competition to claim more than 100-point wins over the second-place competitors ... Received one perfect 10 in each event from TCU diving coach Wayne Chester ... Named C-USA Diver of the Week for the fourth time after those meets ... Won both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard competitions against Rice ... Was the only diver to score more than 300 points on the way to victory in the 1-meter springboard at the Hawaii Diving Invitational ... Earned first-place honors in both diving events at the Arkansas Invitational on the way to C-USA Diver of the Week honors for the third time ... Was the only diver to score more than 300 points and 500 points in the one- and three-meter springboard events, respectively, at the diving dual meet at Tennessee ... Captured her second straight C-USA Diver of the Week award after sweeping both diving events at Arkansas ... Earned honors as the first-ever C-USA Diver of the Week for her performance against North Texas ... Led the Cougars to their first dual meet win of the season ... Scored a then-season-best 400.35 points in the three-meter event, nearly 140 points better than the second-place finisher ... Tallied a season best 351.53 points on the one-meter springboard ... Placed first in both the one-meter and three-meter events at LSU and set two new LSU Natatorium records with her marks in each event.

    INTERNATIONAL
    Won an Olympic Gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Games in three-meter synchronized diving with partner Vera Ilynia, the Cougars' former volunteer coach...also compted in the individual diving events for her native Russia at the Sydney Games...won a Silver Medal in synchronized diving at the 2001 FINA World Championhips in Japan in August...competed at the Goodwill Games in Brisbane, Australia, in September 2001.

    2000-01 SEASON
    Became the Cougars first individual national champion since 1980 by winning both the one- and three-meter springboard events at the 2001 NCAA Championships in Long Island, New York...recorded some of the best scores in NCAA history for an 11-dive program...scored 705.05 points on the three-meter and 355.30 on the one meter at the NCAA?s...swept both boards at the NCAA Zone Qualifying meet in College Station as well as at the National Independent Championhips in Oakland, Michigan...dominated dual meets after joining the team in January of 2001
