HOUSTON - The University of Houston Swimming and Diving team will compete in a pair of dual meets this week, traveling to College Station, Texas to take on the No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies on Thursday, Jan 16 at 3:30 p.m. and then to San Antonio to face Incarnate Word on Saturday, Jan 18 at 2 p.m.

The Cougars head to College Station sporting a 3-2 record in dual-meet action after the team's 135-104 victory against Evansville last week. Houston picked up seven individual first place finishes in the meet including two wins each from senior Heather Winn and sophomores Maya Owens and Danielle Shedd.

The following day Houston fell to Cincinnati and Louisville in a double-dual meet in their first competition against fellow American Athletic Conference opponents.

Houston's previous dual meet victories came on November 1 and 2 when the team defeated North Texas (128-109) and SMU (158-141).

Texas A&M is 5-0-1 in dual meets this season tying No. 3 and defending National Champions Georgia last week. Live results for the meet are available at AggieAthletics.com.

Houston has 12 days off before hosting Rice, Tulane and LSU for a two-day meet at the CRWC Natatorium on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. The meet will be the final warm up for the Cougars before traveling to Louisville, Ky. to compete in the American Championships Feb. 19-22.
