HOUSTON - The University of Houston swimming and diving team will host the No. 6 Texas A&M Aggies Friday at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. The meet serves as Senior Day and the Cougars last meet before hosting the Conference USA Championships Feb. 15-18.

The three seniors Kim Eeson, Beccy Hillis and Natalie Newcomb will take place in a short ceremony at 2:45 with the first race beginning at 3 p.m. The diving portion of the meet begins at noon.

Live results from the meet can be found on UHCougars.com or by following UHCougarSwim on Twitter.

Houston is coming off a weekend where they captured dual meet victories over C-USA rivals Rice and Tulane while dropping a matchup against LSU. The dual wins brought the Cougars record to 4-2 on the season.

The dual meet against the Aggies will serve as the final tune up before the Cougars shut it down to rest for the C-USA Championships. With many student-athletes breaking personal and season bests this month, head swimming coach Augie Busch is happy with where the team is at.

"We've been going hard, real hard in training since the Hawai'i trip. We get some last races in this Friday and then it's time to rest, recuperate and prepare mentally for the championships. I like where our mind and bodies have been over the past few weeks, can't wait to see how we fare in just a couple of weeks."
